modalities as well as the increasingly popular ancient healing
arts.

I became serious in understanding how to successfully manage my health as one who has among other things worked the past 15 years in Seattle area shipyards, most recently the past five years at Foss Maritime. The stresses and strains of physical work presented problems as well as an understanding of the demands it can make on the body daily, affording me an appreciation of the need for specific resolutions to the problems of prolonged daily wear and tear. I began to look for means to realize an ability to perform my duties and to survive the results of that performance and allow for a continuingly fulfilling realization of a hopeful life.
In the ongoing search for answers to questions presented to me by my life’s envvironmet, I took the opportunity to attend Ayu-Academy, Seattle, WA in the Level I Ayurvedic Practitioner Certification program with intensive training in marma therapy, pulse diagnosis, aromatherapy and herbology from 2004-2005 gaining an understanding of the fundamental principles of Ayurveda. I saw in these studies a great potential for empowerment by means of the structured and well proven approach it offered.
My next course was to attend Brenneke School of Massage, Seattle, WA from 2005-2006 where I trained in a wide range of massage principles and techniques for administration of massage for treatment, relaxation and rejuvenation, and with elective training in Myofascial Release, Visceral Manipulation, Ayurvedic massage, external herbal treatment and Lymphatic Drainage Technique.
In recent years, 2002-2005, I have attended sculpture, drawing and painting classes. These studies for me were studies perhaps more of the constant phenomenon of life’s unfolding than of a development of the manual skill. They were and continue to be a means to gain an appreciation of the dimensional body as an environmental, physical, psychological and metaphysical agent.
My hope is to help others with what strangely becomes a familiar and similar process of individual self-discovery. The longer life continues the more interesting is the study that defines its integrity.
Cindy Warren, RYT started practicing Yoga in 2001 with the thought that it was just another exercise program. She soon realized that for her, Yoga is much more than an exercise program; it promotes healing, strength and balance in the body, as it quiets the mind and fosters inner peace. The healing affects of her practice nudged Cindy to the 8-Limbs Center in Seattle where she completed their basic and advanced teacher training. She continues to pursue knowledge of the therapeutic benefits of yoga.
Cindy’s practice and teaching combine breath work with movement, alignment, core awareness, and humor. In her classes you will experience a slower paced Hatha Flow practice where the asanas (poses) flow one to another in a creative sequence with options offered for simplifying or intensifying.
She has studied with Melina Meza, Chiara Guerrieri, Ann Phyfe Palmer and Richard Schachtel and Sarah Powers.
Cindy's easy going, fun personality combined with the small class sizes at Lotus, make her classes not only individually therapeutic, but also a favorite with our patients!

I became interested in what Lotus Natual Health Clinic has to offer through my friendship and prior working relationship with Dr. Pace. I also worked with her as my doctor. This clinic attracted my interest because of the ongoing desire for excellence in service to patients, and the intermixing of the various fields of practice, allowing for whole body wellness to be achieved. I like being a part of such a team.
My background is in cosmetology, which includes aethsetics. I am primarily interested in the facial and skin rejuvenation procedures which are done non-invasively and with the use of all natural products. I, myself, experienced a series of our Pulsed LED light rejuvenation treatments a couple of years ago, with great results, and better yet, with lasting results. I became excited about passing on the good news of such a gentle "mini facelift". Compared to other types of treatments, our Light Rejuvenation treatment is cost effective and is pleasant to receive. I have been using the system on clients and seeing great results. Along with my traditional aesthetics training, I am able to offer a total and unique spa-facial experience.
Additionally we have two kinds of skin care products we offer at Lotus:
a)An all natural, chemical free, mostly organic skin care product line made from edible substances, available for our patients to use at home. These are custom designed for the individual ayurvedic skin type of each man, woman or teen in our skin rejuvenation program.
b) A Pharmaceutical grade, primarily Botanical, therapeutic Skin Care line by IS Clinical designed as a medical intervention for skin problems such as Acne, Rosacea, Hyper Pigmentation, Wrinkles, fine lines and much more. This product line is only available through Medical Clinics and Medi Spas because of the noticeably therapeutic effect it has at the deepest level of the dermis. Our clients are delighted with the results they achieve!
At Lotus Natural Health and Rejuvenation clinic we, as a team, believe that our Integrated Health Care results in being healthy and beautiful both inside and out.
Robin Rudloff is a Certified White Belt Instructor with the Nia Technique. She discovered Nia for the first time over three years ago at a gym she was a member of. Robin was looking for something different in fitness. She was tired of the usual boring aerobics classes she had taken in high school. So when she read about Nia at the gym, she was intrigued. Over the next few days as Robin learnt more about NiA, something happened that would change her life forever. Nia spoke to her in a way that no other fitness program had before. It was friendly, fun and different. After her first class, she was hooked. After a year and a half of Dance Therapy with NIA she was amazed to find that many of her physical problems and pain caused by various accidents and traumas in her life had resolved with NIA as with no other treatments she had tried before. She then decided to become a Nia Instructor. She has not looked back since. Robin loves to share the magic of NIA with everyone, the magic she experienced not too long ago when she discovered Nia!
At Lotus our patients love NIA with Robin and look forward to it weekly!

I am a trained Art Therapist with a Masters in Social Work, concentrating in Children and Families, from the University of Washington. I have worked in Medical Social Work and practiced Art Therapy for a number of years. Prior to starting my private practice I spent five years facilitating art therapy groups for children and adults living with cancer at Gilda’s Club Seattle, a non-profit for those living with cancer, their friends, and family.I have worked as a Medical Social Worker at Children’s Hospital and RegionalMedicalCenter and currently work part time at the University of Washington Medical Center.I choose to follow my passion with Soulstice Art, an art therapy program I developed for individuals, groups, children, and families specializing in illness, loss, and death.I believe that whether it’s a new diagnosis or a chronic condition, illness happens not only to the individual but to the entire family. My approach is to work with clients as a partnership and use a combination of family work theories, which include empowerment based, structural, and behavioral theories. Through my approach, individuals and families will complete the resolution of presenting problems, become aware of thoughts, feelings, and emotions surrounding illness, increase communication, gain coping skills, long term growth, and express themselves in a peaceful non-judgmental environment.
I am a registered counselor in Washington State, a member of the National Association of Social Workers and a member of the Art Therapy Association.
